Constitution
At last Board Meeting, held on 30 January 2014, it was decided that some of the articles in the Club’s Constitution required to be revisited. Chris Edwards, our Membership Secretary, was appointed to make the necessary modifications. The changes were reviewed by the Board Members and agreed subject to some minor suggestions.
The amendments are now in the final draft format and were provided to all the members for review allowing up to 60 days offering comments to Chris (cmjedwards@sympatico.ca). It is our target to have the amendments approved at the Regular Meeting scheduled for April 8, 2014. No response will imply that you agree to the changes.

Unsold Auction Lots
Auction Chair Reay Cairns reported that there are a number of unsold lots not claimed. Members who have not picked up the unsold lots they will be available at the 11 February meeting.

After discussing the matter, the Board unanimously agreed that when members walk-in the lots must wait until the end of the auction to pick-up the cash and/or the unsold lots. Failing to do so the unsold lots, if not picked up within 60 days from the day of the sale, they will become goods of the Club.

Christmas Dinner
Seventeen members and guests attended the annual dinner held at the Canadiana Restaurant, 5230 Dundas Street West, Etobicoke (6 Points Plaza) on Friday, December 13. In addition to the sumptuous dinner served, box of chocolates were donated to each of the ladies present and other gifts were drawn amongst the attendees.
The highlight of the evening was the presentation made to long time member George MacLean who received the Certificate of Merit from the Greater Toronto Area Philatelic Alliance in recognition of his long and dedicated service to both our Club and the Alliance.
Congratulations George!

Board Meeting
Please note that in order that all Directors and Appointees are able to attend the  January 30, 2014 meeting, the schedule has been changed
from 10:00 am -12:00 pm to 6:30-9:00 pm.
Further notices will be released.

Fall Invitational Auction
The auction will take place on the evening of 10 December, 2013.
The minimum catalogue value of lots is $20.00 and over.
The maximum number of lots by each member is 10.
